Mona Lisa Touch™ >
The Mona Lisa Laser treatment is a revolutionary new approach to women's health. It works by stimulating your body's natural regenerative processes and has successfully been used to relieve and treat thousands of women worldwide. The treatment acts painlessly and quickly by gently stimulating collagen production in the walls of the vagina.
Many conditions related to women's intimate areas are overlooked, not talked about and cause huge suffering, in part due to the perception they are an inevitable consequence of ageing or 'being female'.
The reason I have this laser is to assist affected women's quality of life and well being. Lots of women suffer in silence - in clinical practice I often have to be proactive and bring the subject up, as we know many women won't ask for help. I initially became interested as many of my patients with breast cancer are treated with anti-oestrogen therapies and those that can use oestrogen treatment are dissatisfied.
The Mona Lisa Touch laser was first created to treat problems related to post - menopausal vaginal dryness. Now we know it can help other issues.
Menopause, whether natural or induced, determines a range of changes, involving virtually all organs and systems of a woman's body. It is the most major transition in a woman's life.
The end of oestrogen production by the ovaries is linked to the onset of disorders resulting from the urn-genital atrophy - dryness, dyspareunia (painful intercourse), vaginal irritation with itching and burning, vaginal laxity and stress urinary incontinence. Studies show that symptoms caused by atrophic vaginitis are present in 50% of post - menopausal women. This often equates to a decline in their overall well being with negative consequences on their relationships and self esteem.
The Mona Lisa Laser acts directly on the vaginal mucosa by stimulating the metabolic activation of the fibroblasts and synthesis of collagen. Water content is restored and connective tissue/epithelial thickness improve, thus recovering the vagina's tonicity, elasticity, firmness and comfort! Lactobacilli are restored and the pH returns to a lower acidic level.
Indications:
Vaginal atrophy - dryness, itching, burning (this includes lactational/breast feeding related dryness as well as peri and post menopausal or drug related dryness)

PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA) >
As we age, our body loses the ability to produce Growth Factors over time. Platelets in our blood produce Growth Factors when concentrated.
PRP Injection Therapy involves collecting a sample of your own blood and processing it in order to isolate and concentrate your platelets into the plasma. The platelet rich plasma is then injected into an area for rejuvenation. This stimulates your body’s own healing capabilities by producing new collagen and hyaluronic acid leading to increased volume, elasticity and skin tightening.
Areas which can be treated with platelet-rich plasma therapies include
Around the eyes
Cheek and mid face
Thinning skin/loose crepe like skin on the neck
Jawline
Back of hands
Décolletage
Knees
Elbows
Upper arms
Post-baby tummy
Fine lines and wrinkles
Textural improvement
Full-face rejuvenation
PRP can be used in multiple areas for dermal rejuvenation. As a versatile treatment, on top of facial rejuvenation, PRP can also be used to treat scarring and stretch marks and help firm saggy abdominal skin for women who have just undergone pregnancy.
Initial consultation cost is $100 however this cost is redeemable at the time of any treatment.
The cost of treatment varies depending on the size of the area and number of vials used. To treat the whole face, we recommend at least 2 vials. It is recommended to complement PRP treatments with a Dermapen3 session as this improves the effectiveness of the treatment. You have the option of medical grade numbing cream prior to treatment to minimise discomfort.
dermapen >
The Dermapen3 is a revolutionary micro-needling device which aims to tighten, lift and rejuvenate skin. It is the latest and most advanced model available today.
The Dermapen3 can visibly improve the appearance of:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Surgical, acne and trauma scars
Stretch marks
Pigmentation
Skin laxity
The cost of the procedure varies depending on the areas treated. For the best results, we recommend 3 x sessions, 4 weeks apart. Discounts are available when packaged treatments are purchased.
Initial consultation cost is $100 however this cost is redeemable at the time of any treatment.
